has been addressed via software updates from Apple. Jefferson also
pointed out that Mac OS X remains one of the most
secure operating systems available today. Apple has posted a

users can learn more about Apple security updates. User Group
Treasurer Emory Bolton opened the meeting with a briefing on his
visit to MacWorldExpo in

Jefferson
Consulting Associates and other area business leaders were present
at the grand-opening of a new datacenter operated by
HostMySite.com, at the Pencader Corporate Center near Newark,
Delaware. The new 12,000
square foot facility is
designed to provide a high availability platform to support the
company’s shared and dedicated Web hosting services for over 25,000
customers worldwide. The center will generate more than 50 new jobs
for the greater Newark area. The state-of-the-art facility has
raised floors with downdraft forced-air cooling and redundant FE-25
gas fire suppression systems. For backup protection the new
location boasts a central battery array and diesel generators. This
datacenter dramatically increases the level of network redundancy
that HostMySite can offer by adding additional fiber optic
connections to the existing infrastructure. This new facility is
capable of supporting thousands of servers. Lou Honick, CEO
of HostMySite.com,
has been nominated for
the Small Business Administration "2004 Delaware Young Entrepreneur
of the Year" award. The award recognizes individuals under the age
of 30 who have operated a small business for 3 or more years. He
was also featured in a recent business article in the News
Journal. Jefferson
